This 1991 GMC Syclone is one of 2,995 examples produced for the model year and spent time in Washington before the seller’s purchase in 2016. Powered by a turbocharged 4.3-liter V6 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission, a BorgWarner transfer case, and a limited-slip rear differential, the truck is finished in black over black velour. Equipment includes a vinyl tonneau cover, turbine-style 16″ aluminum wheels, Bilstein shocks, a Clarion stereo, Alpine amplifiers, aftermarket speakers, cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows. This Syclone shows 11k miles and is offered in Oklahoma with removed components, assorted literature, a clean Carfax report, and a Cherokee Nation title in the seller’s name.
All Syclones were finished in black from the factory and fitted with a color-coordinated aerodynamic package. Additional exterior details include red Syclone graphics, integrated fog lights, twin exhaust outlets, a vinyl tonneau cover, a rubber bed mat, and carpet bed mats. Photographs of paint meter readings are provided in the gallery below. The seller notes two paint chips on the hood and the tailgate.
Turbine-style 16″ aluminum wheels feature GMC-branded center caps and were mounted with 245/50 Falken Ziex ZE950 A/S tires under current ownership. The truck is equipped with a sport-tuned suspension with Bilstein shocks along with power steering and four-wheel anti-lock brakes with discs up front.
The cab houses manually adjustable bucket seats trimmed in black velour with Syclone embroidery on the headrests and contrasting red piping on the seats and upper door panels. Amenities include a Clarion stereo, Alpine amplifiers, aftermarket speakers, cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows and door locks.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset boost gauge as well as instruments for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 11k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership. The ABS warning light is illuminated.
The turbocharged and intercooled 4.3-liter V6 was factory rated at 280 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a full-time BorgWarner transfer case, and a limited-slip rear differential with 3.42:1 gearing.
The Carfax report is free from accidents or other damage.
The Cherokee Nation title carries an “Exempt” odometer notation.
