This 1993 Ford Mustang LX convertible was purchased by the original owner as an anniversary gift for his wife, and the couple were parents of a high school classmate of the seller. After more than three decades of ownership, they sold the car to the seller in 2024, and it now shows 18k miles. The 302ci V8 has been fitted with a Paxton supercharger and sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok rear axle. The car wears a Reef Blue Clearcoat Metallic finish over white leather and was optioned with the Preferred Equipment Package 245A and the Custom Equipment and Power Equipment groups. Additional equipment includes a white convertible soft top, a rear luggage rack, 16″ Pony alloy wheels, front sport seats, air conditioning, and cruise control. The 16″ Pony alloy wheels were mounted with 225/55 Hankook Ventus V2 concept2 tires in July 2026. Standard equipment included a Handling Suspension Package featuring variable-rate springs and a Quadra-Shock rear setup along with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.
The front sport seats and rear bench are upholstered in white leather, and interior amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, and power windows and locks. The cassette stereo does not work.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,800-rpm redline as well as gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 18k miles, approximately 250 of which were added under current ownership.
The 302ci V8 has been fitted with a Paxton supercharger, which was rebuilt in July 2025. Additional work at that time included changing the oil and replacing the fuel filter, serpentine belt, distributor cap and rotor, spark plugs, and ignition wires.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok rear axle. The transmission fluid was changed in July 2025.
