This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette was refurbished under previous ownership and received NCRS Top Flight awards in 2007 and 2018. Finished in black over red vinyl, the car is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a removable hardtop, 15″ steel wheels, front disc brakes, power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, a heater, and a Wonder Bar AM radio. This C1 Corvette was acquired by the current owner in 2025 and is now offered by the seller on their behalf with NCRS awards, spare parts, and a clean New Jersey title.

The car was refurbished in the 2000s and refinished in black. Equipment includes a matching removable hardtop as well as quad headlights and polished bumpers and trim. For 1962, Chevrolet removed the piece of trim that separated the coves, necessitating one-color bodies for the model year.

The 15″ steel wheels feature simulated knock-off spinner covers and are mounted with Coker tires measuring 205/75. The seller tells us that front disc brakes and power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering were added around 2018 and 2019.

The two bucket seats are reupholstered in red vinyl, and interior equipment includes a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a heater, a Wonder Bar AM radio, and an analog clock. The seller notes that the turn signal lever is loose.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, amperage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 1k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is known.

The 327ci V8 was factory equipped with a single four-barrel carburetor and a high-lift camshaft for a rating of 340 horsepower when new.

The stamping on the engine pad is shown above. The RE suffix is consistent with a 327ci V8 rated at 340 horsepower and designated for a 1962 Corvette with a four-barrel carburetor, a high-lift camshaft, and a manual transmission.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a replacement rear axle with a Positraction differential.

The car received NCRS Top Flight awards in 2007 and 2018.
