This 1964 Chevrolet Corvair 900 Monza convertible was acquired by the seller’s father as a refurbishment project in 2017. Work has not been completed since, and the car remains a non-running project. Refinished in red over a black interior, it has an air-cooled flat-six, a four-speed manual transaxle, 13″ wheels with covers, and a push-button radio. This Corvair convertible project is offered at no reserve with a Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The Corvair was the first unibody model produced by Fisher Body. This one was refinished in red under previous ownership, and it has a black convertible soft top, bright rocker moldings and wheel arch trim, and chrome bumpers. Flaws around the vehicle are pictured in close-up photos shown in the gallery below.

The Corvair’s factory independent suspension utilized coil springs all around and swing axles at the rear, with front and rear drums for braking. The 13″ steel wheels are trimmed with full covers, and they are mounted with Michelin thin-whitewall tires that hold air at all four corners.

The black interior has vinyl upholstery, manual crank windows, lap belts, and a push-button AM radio.

The 100-mph speedometer has a five-digit odometer showing 30k miles, only a handful of which were added under current ownership.

The air-cooled flat-six is mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. The engine has not been serviced by the seller, and it is not running.

Additional photographs of the underside are shown at the end of the gallery.

The odometer entry on the Colorado title is “Exempt”.
