This 1964 Porsche 356C coupe was completed on March 12, 1964 and came specified in Champagne Yellow over black leatherette. It is powered by a replacement 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle, and equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, disc brakes, body-color bumpers, twin engine grilles, front bucket seats, and an analog clock. This 356C coupe is now offered by the selling dealer with a copy of the Kardex and a clean California title.
This Karmann-built body came finished from the factory in Champagne Yellow and was repainted some time ago. Features include a windshield washer system, an underside front tow ring, twin engine grilles, and body-color bumpers with bright guards. The seller notes evidence of prior body work. Rust and other blemishes are viewable in the gallery.
The 15″ steel wheels are mounted with 195/60 Yokohama tires. The car was factory equipped with disc brakes at each corner.
The front bucket seats and rear jump seats are upholstered in black leatherette, and interior appointments include a body-color painted dashboard, a cabin heater, lap belts, Coco floor mats, a Porsche-branded radio blanking plate, and an analog clock. The selling dealer notes that the front seats have been reupholstered.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer with a 4,500-rpm redline as well as a 120-mph speedometer and a combination gauge for oil temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 34k miles.
The replacement 1.6-liter flat-four was installed some time ago.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
The copy of the Kardex is viewable above, and it shows the factory colors and serial numbers.
