This 1967 Austin-Healey Sprite is said to have been sold new in Arizona and remained there with its original owner until the early 2000s, when it was relocated to the Pacific Northwest by the second owner. A refurbishment conducted by that person between 2010 and 2020 included rebuilding the 1,275cc inline-four, repainting the body in British Racing Green, redoing the interior in brown and beige vinyl, and replacing the carpeting, the beige soft top, the bumpers, and the clutch. Equipment includes a four-speed manual transmission, 13″ knock-off wire wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, seatbelts, and dual SU carburetors. The seller purchased the Sprite out of an estate in 2020 and recently had the vehicle shipped to Wisconsin. The battery was replaced and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale. This Mk IV Sprite is now offered at no reserve with a Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.
The car received body work before being repainted in British Racing Green during the aforementioned refurbishment, according to the seller. The Robbins beige canvas top was replaced at that time, and so were the chrome front and rear bumpers and their mounting hardware as well as the exterior emblems. Features include a bright grille, a laminated windscreen, a door-mounted driver-side mirror, quarter vent windows, and a black top boot.
Silver-painted 13″ knock-off wire wheels are mounted with Executive Steel Belted Radial tires measuring 155/80. Braking is handled by drums at each corner.
The bucket seats were retrimmed in two-tone brown and beige vinyl during the refurbishment, and the color scheme carries over to the replacement door panels and the dashboard. Seatbelts have been added, and other interior appointments include a height-adjustable rearview mirror, a wooden shift knob, a heater, and beige carpeting.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 100-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Additional gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are positioned at the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 61k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.
The 1,275cc inline-four featured dual SU carburetors from the factory for a rating of 65 horsepower and 72 lb-ft of torque. The engine was rebuilt during the refurbishment, per the seller. The car retains a generator. The oil was changed most recently in May 2026, and the battery was replaced in June 2026.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The clutch was replaced under prior ownership.
The Wisconsin title carries a “Previously titled by: AZ” notation under the Additional Vehicle Detail section and also lists “Exempt” under the Odometer Status box and “Unknown” under Body Style.
