This 1972 Ford F-250 Sport Custom pickup was optioned with the Explorer and Camper Special Packages, and it was initially delivered to a dealership in Arizona. It features a repaint in gold over black cloth and is powered by a 390ci V8 linked with a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and a limited-slip rear differential. Equipment includes 16″ Ultra alloy wheels, a receiver hitch, fifth wheel rails, power steering, a RetroSound digital stereo, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. The truck was purchased by the seller in 2019, and subsequent work has included the replacement of the alternator, carburetor, valve covers, fuel pump, ignition components, brake components, as well as the shocks, steering components, wheels, and tires. This bumpside F-250 is now offered with a Deluxe Marti Report, a wiring diagram, spare parts, and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.

The truck was repainted in its current shade of gold under previous ownership. It features a Styleside bed as well as towing mirrors, a receiver hitch, fifth wheel rails, a bedside storage box, and a chrome front bumper.

The 16″ Ultra alloy wheels are mounted with  Travelstar Ecopath A/T tires, which were said to have been installed in August 2026. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The seller notes that the brakes were overhauled, and the shocks, tie rod ends, drag link, steering gearbox, and power steering hoses have been replaced in 2020.

The bench seat is upholstered in black cloth. Interior appointments include a RetroSound digital stereo, Pioneer speakers, and a heater. The truck was factory-equipped with air conditioning, but components have been removed. There are signs of corrosion in the floor pans.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a sweeping 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 98k miles. Total mileage is unknown. The seller notes that the turn signal switch and upper steering column bearing have been replaced.

The 390ci V8 was factory rated at 255 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque, and it is equipped with an Edelbrock 850-cfm carburetor and valve covers. The seller tells us that the alternator was replaced in 2020, the fuel pump was replaced in 2024, and the starter solenoid, battery cables, exhaust hangers, spark plugs and wires, the ignition points and condenser, and the distributor cap and rotor were replaced in August 2026.

Power is routed through a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission and a Dana 60 rear axle with a limited-slip differential and a 4.10:1 gear ratio.
