This 1973 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is said to have remained with its original owner in California until the seller’s acquisition in 2026. Refurbishment work from 2012-17 involved rebuilding the 350ci L82 V8 and four-speed manual transmission as well as overhauling the suspension. The car is finished in blue over black leather and equipped with a Positraction limited-slip differential, removable roof panels, power steering, power-assisted brakes, air conditioning, pop-up headlights, and an AM/FM stereo. This C3 Corvette is now offered with build sheets, initial dealership and delivery documents, a binder of refurbishment photos, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Dark Blue (927), and features include a front-hinged domed hood, dual side mirrors, removable roof panels, and pop-up headlights. The seller tells us that the passenger door and the left headlight door were repainted in the 1980s. A replacement front bumper was installed and painted in 2026, at which time the center grille and right mirror were installed. Paint checking is noted on the passenger door, and thin spots and blemishes around the body are visible.
The 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with 255/60 BFGoodrich T/A tires showing 2026 date codes. The car features power steering and a four-wheel independent suspension. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel ventilated discs. The rear suspension components were overhauled during the aforementioned refurbishment, while work in 2026 included rebuilding a brake caliper.
The cabin features twin bucket seats upholstered in black leather (404). Amenities include a tilt and telescoping steering column, a rear window defogger, air conditioning, a heater, and an AM/FM stereo.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. Gauges for fuel level, water temperature, oil pressure, and amperage are mounted in the center stack along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer shows 98k miles, approximately 150 of which were added under current ownership.
The Turbo-Fire 350ci L82 V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 250 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque when new. It was rebuilt in 2013. Chrome dress-up components have been added to the engine bay. The air conditioning system was converted to use R134a refrigerant in 2026.
The engine stamping is shown above.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction limited-slip differential. The seller tells us that the transmission was overhauled during the aforementioned.
An order sheet copy featuring Zora Duntov’s signature is shown above. The included build sheet shows initial delivery to Hansen Chevrolet of Los Angeles as well as factory equipment and options. Initial purchase dealer paperwork, an order sheet, and manufacturer literature are also included in the sale.
