This 1973 Triumph TR6 was acquired by the seller on BaT July 2022 and is finished in Pimento with a black soft top over Chestnut vinyl. Powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission, the car is equipped with 15″ steel wheels, front disc brakes, dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors, a chrome luggage rack, a roll bar, and a retro-style radio. This TR6 is offered with service records, a tonneau cover, workshop manuals, and a Florida title.
The car was factory finished in Pimento (72) and was repainted under previous ownership. Features include a black soft top and matching top boot, a roll bar, a chrome luggage rack, and bullet-style side mirrors.
Silver-finished 15″ steel wheels wear polished trim rings and are mounted with Toyo 800 Ultra tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The front wheel bearings, suspension bushings, steering rack bolts, and tie rod ends were replaced in October 2021.
The cabin is trimmed in Chestnut vinyl and features include a wood veneer dashboard panel, a cabin heater, and a retro-style push-button radio. LED light bulbs were installed in the dashboard in 2020.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer while gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard. The speedometer cable was replaced in January 2018. The five-digit odometer shows 10k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 2.5-liter inline-six features dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was factory rated at 106 horsepower and 133 lb-ft of torque. The oil pan and engine seals were replaced in 2016, the wiring harness and fuse box were replaced in 2020, and in 2021 the belts, ignition components, fuel tank, battery, carburetor bowl seals, choke cable, spark plugs, and alternator were replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The clutch slave cylinder and hose were replaced in 2016, at which point the transmission was resealed.
