This 1974 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce was sold on BaT in August 2022 following a multi-year refurbishment that included rust remediation before a repaint in red along with a retrim of the interior in tan vinyl and replacing the five-speed manual transmission. The car was acquired by the seller on BaT in February 2023, and work under current ownership has included a rebuild of the  2.0-liter inline-four and installation of LED Tripod headlights and a Kenwood Bluetooth amplifier. The car rides on 15″ Rota wheels and features SPICA mechanical fuel injection, a limited-slip differential, a black soft top, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. This Spider is now offered at no reserve with service records and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The Pininfarina-designed body was refinished in red after the front and rear floor pans were replaced under previous ownership. P700 tripod headlights with LED bulbs have been fitted, and additional features include a replacement black soft top, Pininfarina badging, and replacement chrome trim

Black-finished 15″ Rota wheels feature polished rims and are Kumho Ecsta 4X tires with production date codes from 2017. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes and a later-model steering gearbox and column were reportedly fitted under prior ownership. The car rides on aftermarket sport springs and shocks at all four corners, and the seller notes suspension spacers have been installed.

The bucket seats were reupholstered in tan vinyl, and color-coordinated door panels and black carpets were fitted under prior ownership. A Kenwood Bluetooth amplifier linked to quad JBL speakers was installed under current ownership. The seller notes a tear on the back of the passenger seat.

The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a Jaeger 140-mph speedometer and a matching tachometer, while gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 7 of which were added under current ownership.

The 2.0-liter inline-four features SPICA mechanical fuel injection and was rebuilt by Alfa Italia of Burbank, California, in December 2023 with honed cylinders, a replacement cylinder head, valve seals, crankshaft, rod bearings, rings, intake manifold, oil pump, oil pressure sensor, fuel line, vacuum line, spark plugs, water pump and gasket, and thermostat and hoses. The battery was replaced in October 2026.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a replacement five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with 4.10:1 gearing. The clutch and transmission mount bushing were reportedly replaced as part of the 2022 refurbishment along with the driveshaft center carrier, bearing, and rubber coupler.
