This 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo was registered in Idaho and Tennessee before it was relocated to Mississippi in 2016, and the seller was told that it was stored off the road for an extended period before they purchased it in 2024. The car was fitted with a blue vinyl wrap under previous ownership, and it has been retrofitted with a Lindsey Racing boost enhancer, silicone vacuum and intake hoses, braided stainless-steel brake hoses, and a Power Acoustik touchscreen head unit. Additional work under current ownership included manual steering rack conversion and replacing the starter, alternator, timing and balance shaft belts, oil seals and gaskets, oil pressure switch, speakers, and assorted fuel delivery, electrical, and air conditioning components. Powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, the car has 16″ phone dial alloy wheels, pop-up headlights, fog lights, a sunroof, and front sport seats trimmed in beige partial leather. This 944 Turbo shows 23k miles and is now offered with a 2026 service invoice, a clean Carfax report, and an Arkansas title in the seller’s name.
The car was finished in Slate Gray Metallic (LY7U) from the factory, and an Intense Blue vinyl wrap was installed under previous ownership. Exterior details include a tilting sunroof with a removable panel as well as pop-up headlights, fog lights, tinted corner markers, and a rear spoiler. The rear hatch struts were replaced in 2025, per the seller. The wrap is faded and discolored on the roof and right quarter panel, there are dings in the doors and fenders, and the seller tells us that flex tape has been applied between the hatch glass and frame to address moisture intrusion.
The seller tells us that a manual power steering rack conversion was completed in 2024, and that a brake fluid flush was performed after braided stainless-steel brake hoses were installed in 2025. The 16″ phone dial alloy wheels are mounted with staggered-width Continental ExtremeContact tires.
The cabin features front sport seats upholstered in beige partial leather along with a color-coordinated lower dashboard, center console, door panel inserts, and carpeting. A Power Acoustik touchscreen stereo with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity was installed under current ownership, along with a replacement shifter boot and speakers, per the seller. Amenities include power height adjustment for the front seats, an alarm system, cruise control, power windows, and air conditioning. Wear is visible on the driver’s seat bolsters and some of the interior surfaces, and separating leather is noted on the rear seats.
A four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, turbo boost pressure, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 23k miles, approximately 1,200 of which were added under current ownership. A dashboard cap has been installed.
The turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-four was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque, and the seller tells us that it has been retrofitted with a Lindsey Racing boost enhancer. The oil pan gasket is said to have been replaced in the summer of 2024, and the seller tells us that work performed since 2025 included the installation of silicone vacuum, charcoal canister, and intake hoses, along with fluid changes and replacing the following components:
- Timing & balance shaft belts
- Belt tensioners, rollers, & pulleys
- Front main seal
- Cam tower gasket
- Air/oil separator seal
- Turbo oil feed O-rings

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The driveshaft coupler bolts were replaced under current ownership, along with an exhaust hanger and the exhaust sealing ring for the downpipe and crossover pipe. Additional photos of the underside condition are viewable in the gallery below, along photos taken during the aforementioned repairs.
