This 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe was modified by Singer Vehicle Design for its current owner in a build that was completed in September 2025. The car features carbon-fiber body panels finished in paint-to-sample Sapphire Blue with ghosted side stripes, Porsche lettering in Gotta Have It Green, and nickel-plated brightwork. Power is provided by a 4.0-liter flat-six with individual throttle bodies that drives the rear wheels via a close-ratio six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. The car rides on 17” Fuchs-style wheels up front paired with Minilite wheels out back and is further equipped with a front strut brace, Öhlins adjustable shock absorbers, and Brembo brakes. Inside, eight-way adjustable Recaro touring seats are upholstered in Oxford Blue Connolly leather and accompanied by leather-weave interior trim, air conditioning, power windows, a MOMO steering wheel, and a Porsche Classic stereo with navigation. This Singer-modified 964 is now offered on dealer consignment in Illinois with manufacturer’s literature, accessories, build sheets, and an Idaho title.
Based in Los Angeles, Singer Vehicle Design was founded in 2009 by former Catherine Wheel frontman Rob Dickinson and specializes in performance-based customizations of 964-series 911s. Each car is stripped to its steel unibody, which receives welding reinforcements before being fitted with carbon-fiber panels, including the fenders, bumpers, front hood, and rear decklid. The front spoiler, lower rear valance, and lower rocker panels are composed of black textured urethane.
This example is finished in paint-to-sample Sapphire Blue with ghosted side stripes and Porsche lettering in Gotta Have It Green. It was specified with an external fuel filler cap centered in the hood, an external oil filler cap on the right-rear quarter panel, and a nickel-plated “Singer” badge atop Gotta Have It Green “reimagined” lettering. The retractable rear spoiler incorporates a tinted acrylic screen beneath the grille, and additional touches include nickel-plated brightwork and rear bumperettes as well as bi-xenon headlights, polycarbonate front lenses, and bullet-style side mirrors. Paint protection film was applied over the full body during the build.
The 17″ Fuchs-style front and Minilite rear wheels are finished in nickel and secured by gold-accented open lug nuts. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measure 225/45 up front and 265/40 at the rear. The sport suspension incorporates a body-color front strut brace and Öhlins two-way adjustable dampers at all four corners with “aggressive road” tuning. The Brembo brake system is derived from the Porsche 993 Turbo and includes drilled and ventilated rotors acted upon by Gotta Have it Green calipers with black Porsche lettering.
The cabin is trimmed in Oxford Blue Connolly leather with leather-weave striped inserts and nickel-plated ventilation grommets on the Recaro eight-way adjustable touring bucket seats. Matching woven leather covers the dashboard fascia, door panels, and rear seats, while the dash, door caps, and parcel shelf are trimmed in black leather. Other appointments include black seatbelts, drilled footboards and pedals, a Singer dash badge over “reimagined script”, an engraved shift knob, and door armrests with integrated storage compartments and leather pulls. Automatic climate control, power windows, and a Porsche Classic radio with navigation are further amenities.
The MOMO steering wheel is wrapped in black leather with a green center stripe and sits ahead of early-style instrumentation centered around an 11k-rpm tachometer with a body-color dial and Light Ivory markings. Additional instrumentation includes a 190-mph speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 697 miles since the completion of the build.
The air-cooled, naturally aspirated flat-six was rebuilt to a displacement of 4.0 liters and was rated by Singer at 390 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque. The intake system features a ceramic-coated plenum atop individual throttle bodies.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a close-ratio six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. The dual-center exit exhaust system features a titanium muffler.
The Carfax report is free of any accidents or other reported damage with an initial entry in November 2022.
