This 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 was specified in Dark Gray Metallic over gray cloth upholstery and optioned with air conditioning, and the Power Package, which added power windows, door locks, and mirrors. Power is provided by a 4.0L 3F-E inline-six linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and it is further equipped with 15″ chrome wheels, locking front hubs, chrome bumpers with black end caps, front disc brakes, nerf bars, and a Clarion CD/cassette stereo. The truck has remained registered in South Carolina and Georgia from new and has 213k miles following the seller’s purchase in 2007. Work since 2022 has included replacing the front brakes, battery, and water pump as well as rebuilding the Birfield joints and recharging the air conditioning. This FJ62 is now offered on dealer consignment by a BaT Local Partner with the owner’s manual, service records, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Georgia title.
The truck left the factory finished in Dark Gray Metallic (155) and was repainted in 2017. Features include quad rectangular headlights, chrome bumpers with black end caps, chrome mirror caps, a receiver hitch, mud flaps, nerf bars, a rear window wiper, and a split tailgate.
The 15″ chrome wheels were mounted with 31×10.50″ Cooper Discoverer A/T 3 tires in 2016. The front axle is equipped with manually locking hubs, and braking is handled by front ventilated discs and rear drums. The front brake pads, calipers, and rotors were replaced in June 2022.
The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in patterned gray cloth as well as a matching folding rear bench and door panels. A Clarion CD/cassette stereo has been fitted, the air conditioning system was converted to R-134a in 2008 and most recently recharged in October 2024, and the carpets were replaced in September 2017. Play is noted in the shifter.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 213k miles, approximately 31k of which were added under current ownership.
The fuel-injected 3F-E 4.0L inline-six was factory rated at 155 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. The water pump was replaced in November 2024, the battery was replaced in March 2026, and an oil change was completed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The Birfield joints were rebuilt in October 2024.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
