This 2003 Aprilia RSV Mille R is one of 461 Colin Edwards Edition motorcycles produced worldwide for the model year, with 50 of those units allocated for the US market. It was sold on BaT in February 2022, and acquired by the current owner in 2025. Work under prior ownership included replacing assorted right-side bodywork, the fuel tank, head gaskets, stator, regulator/rectifier, overhauling the monoshock on the adjustable Öhlins suspension, upgrading assorted components on the triple Brembo disc brakes, and more. Power comes from a 998cc Rotax V-twin paired with a six-speed transmission, and the bike is finished in black with red accents and graphics inspired by Aprilia’s 2003 MotoGP entrant. Additional details include a twin-spar aluminum frame, a solo saddle, a two-into-two exhaust system with upswept Aprilia Racing-Akrapovič mufflers, 17″ split-spoke alloy wheels, and AP Workshops rearsets. This RSV Edwards Replica is now offered at no reserve with a clean Tennessee title.

The bike wears black fully-faired bodywork with carbon fiber and red accents as well as graphics inspired by the 2003 Aprila RS Cube MotoGP race bike and printed Colin Edwards signatures on both sides of the fuel tank. The right side fairing and belly pan were repaired under prior ownership, according to the seller, and refinished using replacement graphics. A replacement 5.8-gallon fuel tank was installed at that time. Features include a twin-spar aluminum frame, a solo saddle, a clear windscreen, AP Workshops rearsets, axle sliders, and a side stand. There are scratches on the right muffler, and the rear stand in the photos is not included in the sale.

Blue-finished split-spoke 17″ alloy wheels were mounted with Dunlop Sportmax Q5 tires under prior ownership. The adjustable Öhlins suspension consists of a 43mm inverted fork as well as a monoshock mounted to the aluminum swingarm. The seller states the monoshock was overhauled under prior ownership with 95 N/mm spring and upgraded rear suspension linkage components.

Braking is provided by multi-piston Brembo calipers mounted over dual 320mm discs up front and a single 220mm disc at the rear. Work completed under prior ownership, according the seller, included installing a Brembo RCS19 front master cylinder, Core Moto front brake lines, and EBC brake pads.

Clip-on handlebars are mounted below the blue-anodized top triple clamp and in front of a gauge cluster featuring a 12k-rpm tachometer flanked by digital information displays with readouts for speed, engine temperature, and time. The digital odometer indicates 39k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership. Tapered-roller steering-head bearings were installed under prior ownership.

The liquic-cooled 998cc V-twin was manufactured by Rotax and the factory-rated output was 133 horsepower and 78 lb-ft of torque. Details include indirect multiport electronic fuel injection, electronic ignition, twin high-mounted radiators with electric cooling fans. and a two-into-two exhaust system with Aprilia Racing-Akrapovič mufflers. Service under prior ownership, according to the seller, included replacing the valve cover gaskets, fuel pump and filters, regulator/rectifier, stator, battery, and assorted electrical components.  The engine oil and coolant were last changed in 2025.

Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission and a drive chain. The prior owner added a Driven 520 chain and sprocket conversion kit, along with an Oberon clutch slave cylinder, an upgraded clutch jet, and a Racetorx shift-shaft support, per the seller.
