Some days you just need a good roundup of cat tweets to make you laugh your tail off. Mondays are that day. That's why we come back every single week with the freshest and funniest, not just for you, but for us as well.
I Can Has Cheezburger started from a meme. You know the one. The internet then advanced and memes became a community activity, connecting people from around the world through their love for cats and making memes out of them. This was the era of LOLcats. Then Facebook and Instagram came out, along with Tumblr, and then Twitter (now "X"). Memes are now a dime a dozen, with hundreds, if not thousands of pages dedicated to posting memes and making others laugh. While there may not be as many pages specifically for cats, there are still quite a few more than when we started nearly 20 years ago.
All of this is to say that memes aren't what they used to be anymore. We still love them and keep the purrfect tradition of cat memes alive, but a lot of the internet has moved on already. Now, everybody wants tweets. And if that's what hte internet wants, then that's what the internet will get. We'll keep looking for the most viral, the silliest, and the funniest feline posts that the world has never seen before (because they're fresh, duh) and give them to you every Monday so that, at the very least, you know that you'll have something to make you smile on this most terrible day of the week.
