Have you ever looked at an orange cat and wondered what is going on inside that little head?

I have. And judging by the number of existing orange cat memes on the internet, I'm definitely not the only one. People often say all ginger cats share one single brain cell, and to be honest, oranges aren't exactly doing anything to prove it wrong. Some of the things I've seen them do make it hard to argue against it. But here's the thing: I actually know an orange cat who might be a little too smart for his own good. He's the exception to the rule. Ladies and gentlemen, I'll introduce you to Fred.

Fred is a ginger cat that belongs to a friend of mine and looks like Ed Sheeran. Yes, his face looks pretty much the same. What's so special about Fred? Well, he plays fetch. Yes, like a dog. You throw something, he goes after it, and he brings it back so you can do it all over again. The first time I heard about this, I thought it was hilarious. Since when do cats willingly bring things back to their humans? Most cats I've known would probably watch me throw a toy, look at me like I'd lost my mind and then look away, expecting me to go pick it up myself. So naturally, I have a theory. What if Fred has been hogging the orange cat brain cell all this time? Somewhere out there, another ginger cat is probably trying to figure out how to get down from a chair while Fred is busy mastering the rules of fetch. That would explain a lot.
