We're getting close to Halloween, and I'm already looking forward to all the candy I'm going to eat.

It's the best time of year for candy. I don't know about you, but I've been indulging all month. It's the time for candy in whatever shape and form I can get it. You don't have to be a parent in order to exercise your right to the "parent tax" when it comes to Halloween candy. When your kid is trick-or-treating, you have a right to take at least 20% of their earnings. After all, you paid for the costume. And oh yeah, they're your literal child. But if you're not a parent, you can just go and buy a variety pack of candy from the grocery store, and literally nobody will stop you. You can keep it in your house and reward yourself with treats every time you complete a task. This is the parenting/non-parent hack that we all needed.
