This 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa was sold new in Ohio, where it remained registered until 2014, and the current owner acquired it in 2020 and has added 3k of the 24k miles shown. Finished in Platinum Metallic over Cadbury Brown leatherette, the car is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a 915 five-speed manual transaxle. It is equipped with a targa roof panel, body-color 16″ Fuchs wheels, a Carrera tail rear spoiler, cruise control, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, air conditioning, and a black front spoiler. This Carrera Targa is now offered in Pennsylvania by the seller, a BaT Local Partner, on behalf of the current owner, with service records dating back to 1990, a clean Carfax report, and a Florida title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Platinum Metallic with a black removable targa roof panel and features a Carrera tail rear spoiler and a black front spoiler. The front trunk lid struts were replaced in May 2026, and photos of paint-meter readings and exterior imperfections are provided in the gallery below.
Body-color 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels are outfitted with anodized lips and mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires that have date codes from 2020. Chassis 160749 was ordered with 474 Sports shocks, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The front brake calipers were replaced in August 2014.
Cadbury Brown leatherette covers the seats, and the dashboard, door panels, and carpets are also color-coordinated. Amenities include cruise control, a Blaupunkt Monterey SQR 23 cassette stereo, air conditioning, power windows, and sisal floor mats. The sun visors were replaced in 2007, and work in May 2026 involved replacing the blower motor, window switches, and window switch relay. The door armrests have some sagging.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a Quarz clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 24k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.2-liter M930/21 flat-six was factory rated at 207 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. The crankshaft position sensor and DME relay were replaced in December 2017, and work in May 2026 included replacing the oil return tubes and changing the oil. The engine compartment insulation is deteriorating.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle.
