Have you taken enough beach days this summer?

The beach is calling. Will you pick up? Summer is stretching its way to a close, and we're all looking back on the summer of 2026. We come into summer with so many hopes and dreams, only to let go of many of them because time is finite. There are only so many days that you can go to the beach, and this summer has been a rocky road in terms of the weather that's coming in on the weekends. It feels like it has either been a heatwave or wildfire or somehow the most humidity anyone has ever experienced. That being the case, there haven't been a ton of opportunities to plant yourself on the beach and get a good suntan going. Beach days are a whole rigamarole, and they take some amount of planning if you're not prepared. If you don't have all the items required, and if you don't get there early enough in the day, then you might as well have stayed at home. But true beach heads know that it's all worth it once you can wiggle your toes around in the sand. It has a calming effect unlike any other. If you're a beach person, then you don't mind all the schlepping and the sand. You know that it's just the healing that you need.
