If you're someone like me then you understand pain and also pleasure. The pain of waking up in the morning, or going to work, of the monotony of life. And the pleasure usually is seen in waking up to our precious kitties, in spending time with them and others that we love, and in the little things. Our cats give us a happiness that can't be seen elsewhere. To have a little bit of their morning meows, their paws on our face and bellies, and their ability to wake us without making us upset. Because of the dichotomy that life offers, there's always a need for something calm and stable. Something that will make us feel soothed and relaxed, like we're being rocked to sleep by our parents. These days, we have to rock ourselves to sleep because we're adults. We may want our cats to do it for us, but that isn't very likely to happen.
Cats cozied up is something that warms us. Whenever I see my cat curled up in a ball I always feel a sense of peace, and it just makes me want to lay there with him and curl myself up. Especially as the weather is getting colder, it feels more and more like we want to just hibernate and be cozy inside. And when we snuggle with our precious cats, we get a little kiss on the forehead feeling from them because of their cuteness, and they get it from us because we actually do kiss them on the forehead.
