There's nothing like reaching the weekend and knowing the burden of the workweek is behind you. That's how I feel. I actually love my job, because I deal with cats all day (duh), but there's nothing like the feeling of knowing I'm going to have an entire weekend of cat time. And I'm sure every cat pawrent out there shares this sentiment with me. But when the weekend starts, we all still have things to do - everything we didn't have time to do during the week. Whether it's that extra laundry load, dealing with a pile of dishes, cleaning around the house, etc. And even if it has nothing to do with chores at all - like time spent with friends and family. They all happen on the weekend, but… then comes Sunday, and you can finally chill with your cat.
Sunday is all about my cat lying on my stomach while I'm in bed, and she purrs like a tiny tractor in the field. Sunday is all about my cat walking with me in the kitchen, trying to trip me between my legs, until I reach her treat drawer and give her an extra one. Sunday is all about having bursts of energy for playtime with my cat, making her zoom around the apartment like a tiny rocket made of fun and meowgic.
