This 2021 Harley-Davidson Softail Sport Glide was originally built by Paul Yaffe Designs of Phoenix, Arizona for late Harley-Davidson executive Clyde “The Glide” Fessler, and it has remained in his family in the time since. In addition to numerous Paul Yaffe components, the bike features a custom paint scheme, fairing, two-up seat, and fenders as well as a Vance & Hines exhaust system, Arlen Ness foot and hand accessories, Arlen Ness engine and transmission covers, LED lights, and turned copper leaf accents. Power is from a 107ci Milwaukee-Eight V-twin paired with a six-speed transmission, and additional equipment includes an inverted fork, a monoshock, 18″ and 16″ alloy wheels, hard-sided saddlebags, and a belt final drive. This Paul Yaffe-built FLSB has 554 miles and is now offered with one key fob, two saddlebag keys, and an Arizona title in the name of the seller’s trust.

The bodywork is finished in a custom pewter, black, and gray color scheme with spun copper leaf accents, and it has been fitted with a Harley-Davidson footboard kit, Arlen Ness footboards, a Klock Werks Flare windshield, a Guy’s Upholstery two-up seat, and copper-plated Bar & Shield inserts. Additionally, custom Paul Yaffe components consist of:

  • Cafe front fender with inverted fork adapters
  • Sharknado Custom Front Fairing
  • Quad Pod daytime running lights and turn signals
  • Custom LED Headlight
  • Black Stash Chin Spoiler with Custom Copper Screen
  • Custom Tank Console with pop-up cap
  • Custom Rear Fender with frenched License plate bracket
  • Lightning Bolt Taillights and turn signals

Black-finished alloy wheels with machined faces measure 18″ up front and 16″ out back and are mounted with Michelin Scorcher tires. Suspension consists of a Showa 43mm single-cartridge inverted fork in addition to a swingarm damped by a monoshock with a hydraulic preload adjuster. Anti-lock braking is a single disc with a four-piston caliper up front as well as a single disc with a two-piston caliper out back.

The color-matched Paul Yaffe Monkey Sport handlebar is mounted in a Weld Wing riser clamp and carries Arlen Ness grips and mirrors. The stock digital gauge is mounted in the fairing ahead using a Paul Yaffe bezel and it displays a speedometer, a bar-style fuel-level gauge, and an odometer that indicates 554 miles.

The 107ci Milwaukee-Eight V-twin has been fitted with a two-into-one Vance & Hines exhaust system in addition to Arlen Ness rocker box covers, air cleaner, tappet blocks, cam cover, and pushrod keepers. The battery was replaced in 2024.

Power is delivered to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission and a final drive belt. Modifications include a Harley-Davidson gloss-black primary cover as well as Arlen Ness transmission top and side covers.
