What a great 7 years it's been as well. Compare it with the 7 years that preceded it and it's night and day.
To think how close we came to losing our club entirely
It could have been so different. Just a few minutes either way could have changed our fortunes irrevocably, we are so lucky to have Shazza and FV. All you have to do is look at what happened to Bury to know the chasm we could have fallen down.
This will be by far the toughest season and probably, other than the relegation in the first season where we were already a lost cause, this is the first where we may well lose more than we win. However, we are where we need to be and are just one good season away from the promised land again now. Admittedly, bar a miracle a good few years away yet if at all.
I couldn't be more grateful to still have a football club to support. I have no Idea what I would do with my Saturdays without it. Onwards and upwards.
