This 2005 Ford GT is a Mark IV Red car that was ordered without painted racing stripes, and its side tape stripes and graphics have been removed. The car spent time in California, Montana, Ontario, Canada, and Texas before being sold on BaT in August 2026, and it has since been driven approximately 20 miles. Factory options consist of forged aluminum BBS wheels and a McIntosh sound system, and the Ebony interior features carbon-fiber-backed Sparco bucket seats. A 550-horsepower supercharged 5.4-liter V8 drives the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox and a helical limited-slip differential. Recently acquired by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, this Ford GT has 8k miles and is now offered in California at no reserve with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, two sets of keys, a clean Carfax report, and an Ohio title.
The Camilo Pardo-designed GT was styled as an homage to the Le Mans-winning GT40 racing cars of the 1960s and features aluminum body panels over an extruded-aluminum space frame and roll-bonded floors. This example is one of 766 finished in Mark IV Red for the model year, and it was specified without painted racing stripes. The side tape stripes and graphics were removed under previous ownership, and retained exterior equipment comprises HID headlights, side air intakes, a vented hood, a front splitter, a rear diffuser, and a dual center-exit exhaust system.
Factory-optional BBS forged lightweight aluminum wheels measure 18″ up front and 19″ out back and are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A and Potenza RE050A Scuderia tires, respectively. The Brembo braking system is comprised of four-piston monoblock calipers with cross-drilled and ventilated rotors that measure 14″ up front and 13.2″ out back.
The cockpit is trimmed in Ebony leather and houses manually adjusted seats designed by Sparco that feature carbon-fiber shells as well as GT40-style ventilation grommets and harness slots. Amenities include a McIntosh CD stereo, remote keyless entry, and push-button ignition. The central tunnel is topped by an aluminum console with rotary climate controls, and rubber mats cover the aluminum floor panels.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is affixed to a tilting and telescoping column ahead of the GT40-inspired instrument array consisting of a central tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline and an offset 220-mph speedometer. The Ford GT badge on the steering wheel has blemishes. Toggle-switch controls are positioned under additional gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, boost, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 8k miles.
The mid-mounted 5.4-liter DOHC V8 is outfitted with an aluminum block, cylinder heads, and pistons in addition to a Lysholm screw-type supercharger, a dry-sump lubrication system, and a water-to-air intercooler. Factory-rated output was 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed, and the battery was replaced in May 2026.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ricardo six-speed manual transaxle and a helical limited-slip differential.
The window sticker notes initial delivery to Fiesta Ford in Indio, California, and lists factory equipment, colors, options, and a total price of $150,845. Manufacturer’s literature and two sets of keys will also accompany the car.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
