Introduced at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the Pista Spider is an open-air version of the track-focused Pista coupe fitted with a power-retractable, two-piece folding hardtop that stows over the engine. This example is finished in Matte Bianco Italia (226027), an extra-range color, with an optional extended racing livery in Matte Nero DS (229511). The body was factory-outfitted with a carbon-fiber rear diffuser, rear molding, side air splitters, front fascia trim, and B-post trim. Dark-finished 20″ split-spoke forged alloy wheels are fitted with carbon-fiber center caps and wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. The twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 features larger intercoolers, revised camshafts, titanium connecting rods, and exhaust manifolds from the 488 Challenge and was factory rated at 710 horsepower and 567 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed F1 dual-clutch automatic transaxle and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. Titanium exhaust pipes were a factory option.
