This 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 has just 9k miles and was outfitted by Midwest Vans in Elkhart, Indiana, with their SSX conversion package. It features custom bodywork, a power sunroof, a three-piece cargo cover, 22″ seven-spoke alloy wheels, Bilstein dampers, four-wheel disc brakes, woodgrain interior trim, heated power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, a CD stereo, and a Bose sound system. The truck was optioned with the Z71 Off-Road Package, and it is finished in Silver Birch Metallic over Neutral leather. Power is from a 5.3-liter Vortec V8 linked with a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential. This GMT800 Avalanche 1500 is offered by the selling dealer with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, service records, a Carfax report, and a New York title.

Finished from the factory in Silver Birch Metallic, the truck has been fitted with a darker-finished front fascia, wheel arch trim, and lower bodywork with integrated illuminated running boards. The truck features body-color sail panels, and additional details include aftermarket grille inserts, fog lights, a power sunroof, a three-piece cargo cover, and a receiver hitch. The selling dealer notes some touch-up paint on the rear cladding. Photographs of paint meter readings are provided in the gallery below.

The 22″ seven-spoke alloy wheels were sourced from a later-model GM truck and are mounted with 285/45 Goodyear Eagle Touring tires. The truck rides on an independent front suspension and a multi-link rear setup that features specially tuned springs and Bilstein dampers as part of the Z71 Package. The front and rear brake pads and rotors were replaced in February 2025, and the right rear caliper was changed in April 2025.

The heated power-adjustable front captain’s chairs and rear bench seat are upholstered in Neutral leather, while woodgrain trim accents the cabin. Appointments include driver’s seat position memory settings, cruise control, automatic climate control, a CD stereo, and a Bose sound system. The air conditioning system was recharged in February 2025. Folding down the rear seats reveals a Midgate panel that allows for extended bed length.

The leather- and wood-trimmed multifunction steering wheel fronts US Speedo instrumentation, including a 120-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 9k miles, approximately 100 of which were added by the selling dealer.

The 5.3-liter Vortec V8 was factory rated at 295 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque. The battery was replaced in March 2022, and the oil was changed in February 2025.

Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential. The exhaust system was replaced in February 2025.

The Carfax report shows that the truck was stolen in February 2007.

The New York title notes: “Exempt: Vehicle over 10 years old” in the Odometer Reading section.
