Is there a better outfit change than going from a Halloween costume into pajamas? Isn't that exactly what this post-Halloween Sunday calls for?
Are you all recovering from your Halloween night? Come on, drink water and get some rest, my friend. You might have been a wild vampire yesterday; now you need to come back to life with your best Sunday mood.
This Halloween happened to coincide with a friend's birthday celebration, so we went to a costume party, and I dressed as a fortune teller. I wore a scarf around my head and big earrings, brought tarot cards, and used a balloon covered in stars as my crystal ball. Did it at home and was ready in fifteen minutes. The balloon part only took more planning, but it was definitely worth it. My accessories gave me enough authority to start predicting things and people would actually ask me. The truth is I have no idea how to read cards. Qualifications don't come with the outfit. Anyway, that did not stop me from playing around with the cards all night. I really convinced everybody at that party that I was a fortune teller.
My group of friends brought quite a range of costumes. We had vampires, a mechanic, the clown from "It", and a unicorn. There wasn't much of a shared theme, but that was precisely the charm of our group. No situation would normally bring those characters together in the same room, yet a friend's birthday on Halloween did.
