It's officially the season of wearing ten layers of clothing indoors, wrapping ourselves in blankets like purritos and questioning why we ever thought leaving the house was a good idea. The cold is real, friends, and while we'd love to spend the entire winter cuddling with our cats, our feline overlords don't always cooperate. Sometimes they want cuddles, sometimes they want to sit three feet away from us, and sometimes they steal the warm spot on the couch the second we get up, and you know they do not give it up once they have it. Such is life with cats. We say that from our purrsonal expurrt knowledge. Of course, we wouldn't trade it for the world, especially when their the little smooshed faces they make when they stick their face into a blanket make even the coldest days feel a whole lot warmer.
Unfortunately, our cats are not always available for cuddles. We cannot, no matter how much we want to, bring them to work.
