High risk. High reward.
It may not be the essential ethos of All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) Blood and Guts match but it’s the underlying root of what the wrestlers get themselves into when they step into the double-sided ring and look above to see the massive, enclosed steel cage over them.

Darby Allin still managed to break the mold on Wednesday night’s "Dynamite" special. Allin, Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland, Steve Borden and Matt and Nick Jackson squared off against the Don Callis Family, which featured Jake Doyle, Kazuchika Okada, Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Mark Davis and Wardlow.
Allin and Wardlow had the spot of the night.
The two wrestlers managed to break out of the cage once they were locked in. Allin found a hole through one of the beams he could fit through and tried to go after Callis himself. Wardlow managed to break a door on the other side of the ring and walk out to chase Allin up to the top of the cage.
Meanwhile, Trent Baretta and Rocky Romero came out to support the faction’s efforts to vanquish the good guys in the ring. Baretta and Romero stacked multiple tables near the entrance of the cage as Allin and Wardlow did battle high above the ring. Wardlow, initially, tried to dump Allin off the top, but Allin managed to get out of it and hit Wardlow with a low blow.

In the ring, the Don Callis Family took apart their opponents. They wrapped Copeland’s neck with a chain and tied him to the cage. Copeland eventually surrendered before Fletcher could stab Ospreay in the head with a screwdriver. But the damage wasn’t finished.
Fletcher ordered Wardlow to dump Allin off the cage.
Allin, who is no stranger to putting his body on the line, fell several feet and crashed through the tables that were set up by Baretta and Romero.
It was a shocking fall as Allin landed through at least two of the four tables. But the message was sent ahead of Full Gear that the Don Callis Family is taking no prisoners.
Some of the faction’s members will vie for championships at the upcoming pay-per-view.
Davis and Doyle will challenge The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship and Fletcher will take on Ospreay for the AEW World Championship.
Full Gear takes place at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix on Nov. 14.
