American Horror Story Season 13 delivers a sensational finale, just like it has in most chapters. One of the most memorable characters in this season of AHS is Young Mr. Nas, or Satan, portrayed by Paul Anthony Kelly.
As the season comes to an end, the FX series keeps the possibility of Satan’s return open. In a new interview, Kelly discussed whether that will happen.

In the Season 13 finale, which aired on October 29, 2026, Joey Pollari’s Ben, who is the son of Satan, sacrifices himself when he takes a sword and stabs his own heart. While Ben turns into ash, Satan becomes a captive inside The Last Supper painting.
Kelly revealed during the interview that he didn’t know “anything about how the season would go” when he joined the cast of the series. He elaborated, “They were writing it as we went along. I think there were maybe five episodes when I started, and there are 13 episodes in the season, so things change, things go, and just play along.”
The Love Story star also spoke about where his character might be after the events of the finale. He said that Satan is “stuck in the painting for all eternity,” adding, “I think maybe it’s more of a purgatory situation.”
When asked if he could see the character returning in the future, Kelly said that he could. The actor also said, “Who knows with Ryan Murphy? He’s always bringing things back and new twists and tales. It’s very possible.” After the interviewer reminded him that the series has received a 14th season renewal, Kelly stated that he would return if he got the call. He continued, “Yeah, but I have no idea. Who knows what’s in store.”
