Anne Hathaway recently played a game during her appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show. In the game, she was offered two conflicting choices and had to pick one. In one of the rounds, she chose the alternate option, ditching her second Oscar option.

She asked desperately if she could give up on The Great British Baking Show she chose earlier so that she could choose both. Kimmel replied that she could not. She immediately dropped the Oscar poster, declaring that she would rather see the Knicks win another championship than receive the prestigious award.
Fallon also presented Hathaway with a signed jersey from Knicks savior OG Anunoby. The Devil Wears Prada actress reacted, “Are you serious? Oh my god!” The Knicks also sent her a big baby hamper with a card, stating, “All my best” signed by Anunoby.
This appearance comes after the actress appeared in a scene that featured Karl-Anthony Towns at a Hamptons soiree in The Devil Wears Prada 2. Since then, the Knicks have continued their winning streak, for which Hathaway jokingly took credit for. It is to be noted that the Knicks did lose in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on June 9.
Hathaway came on the chat show to promote her upcoming movie, Verity. The psychological thriller series follows a struggling writer who is summoned by Jeremy Crawford, the husband of bestselling author Verity.
She is tasked with finishing an incomplete series by Verity, which she couldn’t because of a mysterious incident. While going through her work, she comes across a hidden manuscript that exposes dark secrets and makes her question Verity’s mental state.
The movie comes out on October 2.
