Im upstairs in a loft. I have a pet so I can't have the bed or anything climable by the ledge. My over head lights are govee smart bulbs and I have a few spotlights to place around so I got the cozy lighting thing going pretty well. Definitely been meaning to get some plants in here. Would love to find a bigger bookshelf thats wood to display more books and the like.

I won't be keeping the desk chair seen here, I was thinking of getting

Idk if a rug would be a good idea? The carpet gets pet hair really fast and I dont have a good vaccum/means of cleaning the rug.

Also if anyone's interested I could draw a quick layout of the floor plan.

I've had this room for a little over a year and I think its in a good spot but it means alot to me. I feel like its such a cool space and I could do more for it. I've thought over n over about adding curtains above the ledge or decorating the beam, or adding a pillar on the ledge corner, who knows.

I hope I don't come off as materialistic, most of what I have is eco friendly/second hand :)
