Been watching Championship games and the wage bill talk gets all the attention. What I don't see much is who's actually turning academy players into cash instead of just hoping they break into the first team. Some clubs seem to sell two or three every couple seasons while others sit on the same prospects for years. The ones that do it well keep finding buyers without it looking like they're desperate to offload. Curious if the numbers show up anywhere regular or if it's all just rumors when a deal closes. Also wonder how much the stadium or training ground plays into it. Does a nicer setup bring in better kids or is it mostly about the coaching staff? If the youth side is just breaking even that probably changes how the whole club plans transfers and contracts. Not sure how visible any of that is from the stands.
