Waiting for a brand-new Apple machine to go on sale usually means waiting a long time. So when a just-launched pro desktop shows up even slightly under list price, it’s worth a look. The Apple Mac Studio with the M5 Max chip is an absolute beast of a device. We actually just reviewed it and found it worthy of our Editors’ Choice award and a 4.5-star rating. We loved the dramatic SSD speed boost and the external display support, even if Apple still won’t let us upgrade the RAM.
