The Glamorgan opener Asa Tribe has been barred from joining the England Lions tour of the Caribbean following a visit to Kenya and concerns over the recent outbreak of Ebola in east Africa.

Tribe, 22, is able to represent his native Jersey until he wins a first senior England cap and played three List A games for the associate nation in Nairobi last month. From there he was due to join the England Lions squad in St Kitts and Nevis.
