AUBURN — With one win in three exhibitions, Auburn basketball gets to see if it worked out the kinks against Southeastern Louisiana on Wednesday, Nov. 4 (7 p.m. CT, SECN+), at Neville Arena, tipping off its 2026-27 season.
It's Year 2 under Steven Pearl, following a 22-win campaign in which Auburn saw its NCAA tournament appearance streak snapped but a five-game run to an NIT crown. The season's ending was parlayed into retaining key pieces like Tahaad Pettiford and Kevin Overton, who are surrounded by eight newcomers.
Southeastern Louisiana won just nine games last season. It should only pose such a threat, but the Tigers will look for a tone-setting victory against the Lions.
