The three-match ODI series between Australia and Bangladesh Women will get underway on Friday, October 9. The two teams will face each other for the first time in the format, with the tour also being Bangladesh's first bilateral series in Australia. Australia toured Bangladesh for a T20I series earlier this year and won it 3-0.

The home side will miss their skipper Sophie Molineux in this series as she is battling a hip injury. Lucy Hamilton and Darcie Brown have also been ruled out, while Grace Harris has been dropped. Tahlia McGrath will lead the hosts, who are otherwise at full strength with the likes of Ellyse Perry, Beth Mooney, and Megan Schutt, among others in the squad.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh have retained Nigar Sultana as their ODI captain despite stepping down from T20Is. They have included uncapped pace-bowling all-rounders Disha Biswas and Habiba Islam for this series. The visitors have also recalled Murshida Khatun and Dilara Akter while dropping Juairiya Ferdous, Fahima Khatun and Fariha Trisna from their previous ODI series against Sri Lanka.

As for the series, all three matches will be played at the Allan Border Field in Brisbane and will begin at 2:20pm local time (9:50am IST, 5:20am UK time).
