Bhuvneshwar Kumar has struggled in his return to India's T20I team during the series against New Zealand. He has conceded 139 runs in 12 overs across his three matches, taking only one wicket. The former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin criticized his performance, noting a drop in pace and lack of swing. During the third T20I, he finished with figures of 0/40, raising concerns about his effectiveness.
