MANILA, Philippines — A Romanian national convicted of procuring women for prostitution was barred from entering the country, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said on Thursday. According to the BI, the Romanian national, identified as Razvan Mircea Nedelea, also known as Razvan Necule, was intercepted at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on Sept. 22. Records showed that he was an identified member of a Romanian criminal group involved in trafficking women to Scotland and had previously been convicted and sentenced for procuring women for prostitution.
