It’s been a whirlwind of a few days inside the Big Brother House, but the icons should be very worried.
Hayley fell victim to the Medieval twist, and her game came to an abrupt conclusion.
Drew followed that up with a Head of Household win that found him putting LaTrice, Taylor, and Yash on the block.
(CBS/Screenshot)When Yash won the Veto on Saturday, it became clear that Drew would have to show his cards by putting up someone close to him.
The only other options are Angela, Barrett, Dee, Devens, and Melody.

We’re at the stage of the game where the numbers are dropping, so options for replacement nominees are diminishing.
The icons were hard at work over the weekend planting seeds of doubt in Drew’s mind about Melody.
(CBS/Screenshot)To Big Brother Live Feed viewers, Drew and Melody have been flirting all summer long — not that anyone who solely watches the show on CBS would know.
For some reason, producers would like to keep this flirtation on the down-low.
Melody Has Been Floated as a Potential Target on Big BrotherMelody has been understandably livid with Drew because he voted against Mallory and has chosen the icons over the FAP alliance.
There’s every reason to believe that Melody would get some form of revenge on Drew for his actions, but it’s hard to imagine him actually putting Melody on the block at this point.
(CBS ©2026 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. All Rights Reserved.)He’s made mistakes, sure, but putting Melody up would be burning a relationship and a potential jury vote down the line.
Remember, everyone else who is evicted makes it to the Jury, so Drew has to make a decision that will benefit him in the long run.

However, this is not a good move for Devens. If he is on the vote at the eviction, Barrett could totally flip and send him out the door.
(CBS/Screenshot)Barrett wanted to turn the tables on the veterans at the last eviction and even wanted to send Drew home over Mallory.
So, it was a bit of a surprise to see him so aligned with the veterans again when the feeds returned from a blackout over the weekend.
Now, Drew seemingly confirmed on Sunday evening that there was no chance he would put Melody on the block.
After a Diary Room visit in the middle of the night, he returned to the house and had another plan in mind:
(CBS ©2026 CBS Broadcasting, Inc. All Rights Reserved.)What if he put Dee on the block?
In a sense, it would be retribution because Dee has nominated him before and has targeted him.

Get More of Our Coverage! This may actually be the only way to save the Icons this week because I doubt Barrett would turn on Dee unless Melody and Yash convinced him.
The stakes really are higher than ever because this decision could change the trajectory of the rest of the season.
(CBS ©2026 CBS Broadcasting, Inc)So, what happened at the Veto meeting?
Yash removed himself from the block, and Drew nominated Devens in his place.
The Week 8 Nominees Are SetThis means the final nominees for Week 8 of Big Brother Season 28 are Devens, LaTrice, and Taylor.
Who will win the Big Brother Blockbuster? That’s a close call because all three are great competitors.
