FRENCH banking group BNP Paribas has selected Megaworld Corp.’s Uptown Eastgate tower in Taguig City for a delivery center supporting its global corporate and institutional banking operations, the listed property developer said on Monday.
BNP Paribas Solutions Philippines will occupy office space at the 31-story tower in Megaworld’s Uptown Bonifacio township, according to a disclosure to the stock exchange.
BNP Paribas Solutions Philippines already operates a delivery center in Bonifacio Global City, providing shared services that support the banking group’s international operations.
“BNP Paribas’ arrival in Uptown Bonifacio reflects the confidence of global companies in the township as a strategic location for their operations. Master-planned business districts within Megaworld townships provide access to talent, connectivity, mobility, and amenities that support productivity and employee experience,” Megaworld Global Offices Head Francisco Ma. D. Roxas said.
Uptown Eastgate has approximately 100,000 square meters (sq.m.) of gross leasable space, with floor plates of up to 5,000 sq.m., according to Megaworld.
The building received a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the US Green Building Council in November 2024.
Other international companies with offices in Uptown Bonifacio include JPMorganChase, Google LLC, Tesla, Inc., Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines, Inc., and Reckitt Benckiser (Philippines), Inc.
JPMorganChase occupies two office towers covering approximately 140,000 sq.m., Megaworld said.
The developer’s Uptown Bonifacio township accommodates more than 30 local and multinational corporate tenants across seven office towers.
Megaworld has nearly 900,000 sq.m. of office space in Bonifacio Global City, accounting for more than half of its nationwide office portfolio of approximately 1.7 million sq.m.
The company reported approximately 200,000 sq.m. of office leasing transactions during the first nine months of 2026.
