Toronto Police are turning to the public to help locate a 26-year-old Brampton man on probation who is accused of a committing sex assault in Scarborough last month.

Police allege the accused was in the Kennedy Rd. and Progress Ave. area at approximately 9 p.m. on Sept. 12 when he entered a parking lot in his vehicle and sexually assaulted a female victim.

Cops say the man fled the area when officers arrived at the scene.

Aharsh Krishnakumar is wanted for assault, sexual assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, flight from police Officer, dangerous operation of a conveyance, and failure to comply with a probation order.

Investigators released an image of the suspect and asked anyone with information to contact police at 416-808-4100.

Gun seized in North York, man arrested

A 25-year-old Toronto man is facing multiple firearm charges after a gun was seized inside a vehicle in North York earlier in the week.

Toronto Police said officers responded at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday to a call for a person with a gun in the Sheppard Ave. W. and Keele St. area.

Police allege that the accused was sitting inside a parked vehicle in possession of a firearm when he attempted to flee on foot from responding officers.

The accused was arrested and, according to police, a loaded handgun was found inside the vehicle.

Ronaldo Potter was charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, two counts of possession of a prohibited device or ammunition, careless storage of a firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon.

Man wanted for west end sex assault

Toronto Police say they need help locating a 25-year-old Toronto man wanted for separate sexual assaults that occurred more than four years ago.

Police allege that, between late 2021 and mid-2022, the suspect sexually assaulted the victim on two separate occasions.

According to police, the suspect and victim are known to one another.

Adam Martel-Brain is wanted for two counts each of sexual assault and assault.

The accused is described as 6-foot-3 and 174 pounds with a thin build, short brown hair, and clean shaven.

Suspect sought for credit card fraud

Investigators with Toronto Police have turned to the public to help identify a male suspect wanted for credit card fraud.

It was reported to police that the suspect attended several retail locations throughout Toronto on Aug. 31 and attempted to use a stolen credit card.

The suspect would flee the scene in a black, four-door Volkswagen Golf, cops said.

Investigators described the suspect as approximately 35 to 40 years old with a thin build and black and white hair. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and black shoes.

An image of the suspect has been released by police.

Break-and-enter investigation leads to arrest

A 34-year-old Toronto man accused of multiple probation breaches was arrested last month following a series of break-and-enter incidents in Weston.

Toronto Police said the crimes occurred in the Jane and Church Sts. area.

Cops allege that, on Aug. 26, the accused broke into a garage and stole two dirt bikes. Then on Sept. 4, the accused returned to the same address and broke into a vehicle parked in the driveway.

It was further alleged by police that, on Sept. 19, the accused broke into a residence while the occupants were home and stole personal items including jewelry and bank cards. The accused then went to another location, broke into a vehicle, and removed personal property. He then attended a store and made multiple purchases and withdrawals using a stolen bank card.

Police said the suspect was arrested later that day by officers with the 12 Division Major Crime Unit and a search warrant was executed. During the search, cops said officers seized several items of evidentiary value.

Austin MacDonald was charged with two counts of break and enter dwelling-house commit, three counts of theft over $5,000, two counts of possess/use credit card obtained by offence, attempt to break and enter a dwelling-house, and eight counts of breach of probation.

Female sought for assault with weapon

Investigators with Toronto Police are hoping the public can help identify a female suspect after a family was assaulted two months ago near Little Italy.

Police said officers responded on Aug. 8 at approximately 12:15 p.m. to a call for an assault with a weapon in the College and Bathurst Sts. area.

It was reported to police that the victims, a man and woman as well as their two young children were walking on the sidewalk when the suspect approached them and an argument started.

According to police, the suspect followed the victims into a nearby store and assaulted them with an aerosol-type weapon before she fled the area.

The victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, cops said.

Investigators released images of the suspect. She is described as having a medium build with shoulder length black hair and was wearing glasses and a black dress.
