Brendan Fraser‘s World War II movie Pressure is finally coming to the streaming platform Netflix next month. Anthony Maras directed Pressure, and it became a major critical hit. However, the movie’s box office collection was average compared with its reported $30 million budget.

Pressure arrives on Netflix later this month

According to a report by Collider, the 2026 World War II movie Pressure, starring Brendan Fraser, will stream on Netflix in the United States starting November 30.

Besides Fraser, the movie features a talented cast including Andrew Scott, Damian Lewis, Chris Messina, Kerry Condon, Tamsin Topolski, Henry Ashton, and many more. In addition to directing the project, Maras also co-wrote the movie with David Haig. Pressure had a theatrical release in the US on May 29, 2026.

With a reported budget of $30 million, Pressure opened with $5.8 million. In the domestic market, the movie made approximately $15.5 million, whereas its international collection amounted to $16.1 million. As a result, Pressure’s worldwide collection stood at $31 million.

Although the movie wasn’t a big financial success, it did receive a good reception on Rotten Tomatoes. On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie received a score of 89 percent on the Tomatometer based on critic reviews. It got a slightly higher score of 95 percent on the Popcornmeter based on audience reviews.

Some of the movie’s major praise came from critics lauding Scott’s performance as RAF Group Captain James Stagg. Critics were also impressed by the movie’s pacing. On the other hand, critics and fans had mixed feelings surrounding Fraser’s portrayal of General Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Fraser spoke to Variety about preparing for the role of Eisenhower and told the outlet, “I read until my eyes hurt and I listened to podcasts,” he says of his research. I was directed to give it the drama and feeling that you do. I had to admire how Eisenhower could have kept a dry eye speaking those words…it’s the mark of a stone-cold professional, in my view, because the language just broke me.”
