Agha remained unbeaten on 300 off 336 deliveries with a staggering 42 fours and six sixes. Coming at No.5 against Markhor IT Solutions, he revived Kingsmen Academy’s fortunes from 72-3.
He stitched 274 with Mohammad Suleman (115) for the fourth wicket and then added 118 with Mohammad Shayan (34) for the sixth wicket to help Kingsmen declare on 565-7.
Salman has had the most chaotic month of his career. Last month, he led Pakistan in the first Test against England at Headingley in Babar Azam’s absence. Pakistan lost by an innings and 103 runs. Agha was dropped from the team for the second Test at Lord’s, which Pakistan lost by 194 runs.

In a massive knee-jerk reaction to the second defeat, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sent Agha, along with six others, back home in controversial circumstances. Changes to the squad and subsequently to the playing XI didn’t change Pakistan’s fortunes, as they lost the third Test too by eight wickets to get whitewashed in the three-match series against England.
On his return to Pakistan, 32-year-old Agha went straight to domestic cricket and batted for 472 minutes to bring up his maiden triple ton in first-class cricket. Interestingly, he had never scored even a double century before, his best being 169.
As for the match, Markhor IT Solutions responded strongly on the back of opener Mohammad Farooq’s century. He remained not out on 107 off just 95 deliveries with 11 fours and five sixes, with his team ending Day two at 179-3 after 31 overs, still trailing by 386 runs.
