Jason Statham’s latest action thriller just found a new home after a rough run in theaters. Mutiny hits digital streaming platforms today, and here’s everything viewers need to know about where to watch it and what it costs.

Jason Statham’s action thriller Mutiny arrived on digital streaming platforms on Tuesday, Sept. 8. As a result, the film is now available for purchase and rental on premium video on demand services. Viewers can find Mutiny on Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home and YouTube Movies & TV.

Specifically, the PVOD listing prices the UHD rental at $19.99 and the purchase at $24.99. Additionally, the R-rated film runs 1 hour and 35 minutes on digital platforms. Jean-François Richet directed the action thriller, which Lionsgate distributed.

In the film, Statham stars as Cole Reed, a former London SCO19 Specialist Firearms officer and former Marine commando. Cole works private security for Thai shipping tycoon Tibu Campallo, played by Ramon Tikaram. However, when Tibu is murdered, Cole is framed for the crime and goes on the run.

Subsequently, Cole sets out on a mission to avenge Tibu’s death on international waters. Along the way, he discovers darker secrets than he anticipated aboard the ship. Annabelle Wallis, Roland Møller and Adrian Lester also star in the film.

Meanwhile, Mutiny opened in theaters on Aug. 21 and struggled at the domestic box office throughout its run. The film earned $7.7 million from 2,703 North American theaters in its opening weekend. Furthermore, its business dropped 64% to $2.7 million in its second weekend and skidded another 68% in week three.

Overall, the film has earned $15.2 million domestically and $6.6 million internationally as of Monday. Consequently, its worldwide box office tally stands at $21.9 million against a $40 million production budget. Notably, Mutiny marks Statham’s second underperforming film of 2026 after Shelter earned $49.3 million worldwide.

Critics gave Mutiny a 50% score on Rotten Tomatoes based on 114 reviews. In contrast, audiences responded more favorably with an 86% score on RT’s Popcornmeter. The Popcornmeter score is based on over 1,000 verified user ratings.
