CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Authorities swooped down on a suspected illegal mining operation masquerading as a quarry in the hinterlands of this city before dawn on Friday, November 6, seizing some P45 million worth of heavy machinery. The 4 a.m. raid in Sitio Pin-as, Barangay Tuburan, also resulted in the arrest of six workers and the rescue of a minor.
