Peel Regional Police are warning the public to be aware of their surroundings after two sexual assaults that they believe were committed by the same suspect on Monday near Bramalea City Centre.

Police said the first incident happened at about noon in the Dixie Rd.-Clark Blvd. area, where a woman in her 20s was shopping. She was approached by an unknown male who grabbed her buttocks from behind before being pushing the suspect away and contacting police.

They said the other incident happened just before 2 p.m., when a girl under the age of 18 was waiting at a transit terminal near Central Park Dr. and Queen St. E. before being approached by an unknown male.

The suspect asked a series of personal questions before sitting beside her on the bench. When she tried to leave, the suspect grabbed her breast and buttocks before she broke free and contacted police.

Police said the suspect is a Black male with dark skin, in his mid-30s to 40s and is about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 with a medium to heavy build. He had short black hair that was either closely cropped or in short braids and patchy black facial hair.

Photo released of man accused of voyeurism

Toronto Police have released a photo of a man who was charged in a voyeurism investigation in the Beaches neighbourhood last week as they believe there may be more victims.

Police said that on Aug. 25 at about 4 p.m., an 11-year-old girl entered a washroom at Kew Gardens in the Queen Street E.-Lee Ave. area.

Cops said the suspect was already inside the washroom and that as the child went into a bathroom stall, the suspect took photos of her through the gaps in the stall.

On Monday, police said Hans Martins-Gonzalez, 36, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with secretly observe/record person expecting privacy.

Man sought for assault, theft in Corso Italia

Toronto Police are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted a person and damaged their home early last month.

Police said officers were called to the St. Clair Ave. W.-Lansdowne Ave. area on Aug. 1 after the suspect allegedly stole the keys to the victim’s vehicle, assaulted and threatened them and stole the keys to their home.

Police said the suspect went to the victim’s home and damaged their property.

Toronto Police said the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Ivan Espinoza Rivera, 35, of Toronto, is wanted for taking a motor vehicle without consent, assault, uttering threats, break, enter and commit, three counts of failure to comply with a release order and three counts of failure to comply with a probation order.

Police describe him as 5-foot-10, about 180 pounds with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes.

Loaded weapon seized from Toronto teen

An 18-year-old Toronto man out on a release order has been charged with firearms offences after an arrest in Etobicoke on Monday.

Toronto Police said the public safety response team was in the Dixon Rd.-Kipling Ave. area at about 7 p.m. for an unrelated incident when officers investigated the accused and allegedly found a concealed loaded weapon on him.

Police seized the weapon and took the accused into custody.

Audric Salau was charged with possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, possession of a prohibited device or ammunition knowing its possession is unauthorized and failure to comply with a release order.
