Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Sunday mocked the African Action Congress, AAC, presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, over the recent attack on him in Ekiti State.
Olayinka dared Sowore to visit Obalende, Ojota or Oshodi motor parks in Lagos State and call President Bola Tinubu a criminal and see the reaction.
Sowore and some of his followers were reportedly attacked during an outing in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State capital.
Reacting, Olayinka said Nigerians would have celebrated if it was a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, that was attacked and not Sowore.
Posting on X, Olayinka wrote: "Imagine it was a prominent APC supporter that chopped MORO in Ekiti over the weekend.
"The story would have been; "ANGRY Nigerians attack APC Chieftain In Ekiti." They would have celebrated it.
"My own is, next, Sowore should try and go to Obalende, Ojota or Oshodi Motor Park in Lagos to go and call President Tinubu a criminal, I wan check something."
