Vincent D’Onofrio has finally broken his silence on Daredevil: Born Again, ending with Season 3. The actor who plays Wilson Fisk addressed the news after the Marvel series was confirmed to end.
D’Onofrio responded on X after news broke that the series would end. He thanked viewers for their support and teased what lies ahead. He wrote, “We so enjoyed bringing @DaredevilBornAgain to you all. You stuck with us, and I like to think we stuck with you. We have the final Season, season 3, heading your way next year with some very cool stuff.”

D’Onofrio also reflected on his connection to Wilson Fisk, a role he has played since the original Daredevil. He added, “Much love to all who have been supportive. I love that character Fisk. Always will. Off to another neck off the woods. Meanwhile…Season 3 is coming!”
The final season is currently expected to premiere in 2027, although Disney+ has not announced a specific release date. Production has already wrapped, with the series now in post-production.
Season 3 will also pick up from a major change in Matt Murdock’s life. The Season 2 finale ended with Matt publicly revealing that he is Daredevil during Fisk’s trial. He was then arrested and taken to Rikers Island, setting up a new situation for the hero in the forthcoming season. This scenario almost confirms that the upcoming episodes will highlight the impact on Murdock’s public identity following his arrest.
The final season also comes with a behind-the-scenes change. Showrunner Dario Scardapane has exited the series after his Marvel contract expired and was not renewed, leaving during Season 3’s post-production.
Charlie Cox will return as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, while Krysten Ritter is also returning as Jessica Jones. Mike Colter and Finn Jones are set to reprise their roles as Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
