Can we finally let X go?

Math is hard. Whoever tells you differently is either a genius or a liar. Logic is not always that logical, I'm afraid. Who hasn't struggled with a math exam at some point in their lives? It is quite tricky, not only because sometimes it feels like a puzzle, but because it will literally trick you into thinking you finally understood some algebra procedure. Except, no matter your process breakdown, your answer is still wrong. However, once you get it for real, math can be fun. It feels like you've untangled a numeric mystery by getting to the right answer, while also understanding how you got there (which is not the same thing at all). It¡s a really good feeling. The problem is, it is also a rare feeling.

But I don't know you; that's me. I feel like a little Einstein every time I actually manage to find X, or when I discover some angle. That said, you might be one of those kids who just got it instantly. If you are, how does it feel to be better than everyone else? I'm kidding, of course, but I do admire your capacity to understand numbers and letters in that way. However, if you're more on my side, the "I didn't quite get it the first 100 times", welcome to your new family.

Here's the thing: I might not know much about numbers and symbols, but I am a genius regardless. How, you ask? Well, I'm not a mathematician, but I do know memes. I guess that would make me a memetician. So, enjoy this little collection of brilliant mathematics comedy, and travel back to your last math class. Remember how you felt as you faced an impossible distance/speed scenario, and dig into your brain for the multiplication tables you have long forgotten. You might not practice maths every day like you used to as a kid, but that knowledge will help here. Not to calculate anything really, but to closely relate to these hilarious memes. And to those mathematical geniuses out there, consider this your official appreciation note. Thank you for always trying to explain the impossible to us, and for helping us study when most would consider us helpless in the subject. We hope you only get addition related formulas from now on.
